The relationship is the client.
Most couples arrive carrying two stories about what is wrong. Tending Us starts somewhere else, with the relationship you have built, the patterns it runs, and what it needs to grow. Partners move through preparation, three consecutive retreat days of supported experiential work, and integration together, held by a team that coordinates the medical and relational sides of the work. The aim is to help the two of you tend the thing between you, not to referee.
How the retreat unfolds.
A clear sequence helps you understand the next step without asking you to commit before fit is known.
Virtual preparation.
Group preparation sessions, held in the evening: education, intention, and readiness.
Welcome dinner.
The cohort gathers. The container forms before any medicine work begins.
Three experiential days.
A supported experiential session each day, monitored onsite, with integration the same day.
Virtual integration.
Evening sessions to consolidate what moved and connect it to daily life.
Ongoing care.
Alumni pathways continue through Maintenance.
Is Tending Us right for you?
This may be a fit if you are…
- You have a foundation you both want to deepen, whether that means repair, communication, or closeness
- You are both willing to engage preparation and integration, not only the retreat days
- You can each complete individual medical and psychological screening
This may not be a fit if you are…
- The relationship is in active crisis, or there are current safety concerns. Couples work requires a stable base, and we can help you find the right support.
- One partner is attending to satisfy the other
- You are seeking individual treatment. Our individual formats may serve better.

What we will always be clear about.
- Ketamine is FDA-approved as an anesthetic; its use for mental-health treatment is off-label and considered experimental.
- Benefits vary, and screening decides fit.
- Every session is monitored onsite. No take-home ketamine, and no driving afterward.
- Confidentiality in a group is a shared commitment, not a guarantee. We talk about this in preparation.
- In crisis? Call 911, or call or text 988. We are not a crisis service.
