Different containers. One carefully held arc.

Compare the format, medicine relationship, cadence, and next step before deciding what may be relevant.

Start with context, not a label.

LuminaThera does not offer ordinary ongoing individual or couples psychotherapy. Our individual and couples work is preparation and integration held within ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. We also offer cohort-based group KAP and psychedelic integration for experiences that occurred elsewhere.

You do not need to choose a protocol before asking for help. The comparisons below are an orientation; clinical and medical judgment shape the actual plan.

Four engagement models

Compare the containers before you convert.

Each service opens to a complete page with scope, practical details, boundaries, related programs, and a meaningful next step.

individual

Individual KAP

LuminaThera offers individual work only in the context of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Each protocol is named for its number of medicine sessions: Catalyst-2 is the shorter arc, with two; Depth-6 goes deeper, with six. Cadence and clinical decisions are determined during treatment planning.

group

Group KAP

Group KAP is offered through managed cohort formats such as Immersion-3 and Group-4. The number in each name is its count of medicine sessions. Immersion-3 runs as a retreat: virtual preparation, three consecutive retreat days of supported medicine work in Columbus, and virtual integration, which makes the format workable for participants across Ohio. Participants need an outside individual therapist unless they already work with LuminaThera clinicians in affiliated practices; LuminaThera can help source a therapist and make referrals.

Format
Small facilitated cohort
For
Adults able to join the full cohort
Medicine
IM or sublingual; program and plan dependent
Cadence
Cohort-based; dates and sequence are owned by each program and event

A shared clinical foundation

Preparation and integration carry the medicine work.

The room and format change, but the emphasis on consent, readiness, coordination, supported experience, and integration remains.

  1. 01

    Orient

Clarify the need, the existing supports, and whether LuminaThera is the right setting.

  2. 02

    Screen

Medical and psychological fit are reviewed before medicine work is planned.

  3. 03

    Prepare

Build readiness, intention, shared language, and a practical support plan.

  4. 04

    Experience

When medicine is part of care, sessions are supported onsite with clinical monitoring.

  5. 05

    Integrate

Connect experience to everyday decisions, relationships, and ongoing therapy.

  6. 06

    Continue

Clarify follow-up, referrals, resources, or the next appropriate container.

This is a care continuum, not a fixed conveyor belt. Some people are referred elsewhere; some engage only in integration; cohort timing and protocol cadence vary.

Not sure which path fits? Care navigation is part of the process.
