Group service
Group KAP
A cohort container where preparation, medicine work, and integration are held with peers—and where the group can become part of the therapeutic context.
- Format
- Small, facilitated cohort. Depending on the format, medicine work happens across scheduled sessions or in a retreat weekend, with preparation and integration held around it.
- For
- Adults seeking a structured group KAP experience and able to participate in the full cohort
- Cadence
- Cohort-based; dates and sequence are owned by each program and event
- Availability
- Cohort availability varies
Understand the offering
The container, in plain language.
Group KAP is offered through managed cohort formats such as Immersion-3 and Group-4. The number in each name is its count of medicine sessions. Immersion-3 runs as a retreat: virtual preparation, three consecutive retreat days of supported medicine work in Columbus, and virtual integration, which makes the format workable for participants across Ohio. Participants need an outside individual therapist unless they already work with LuminaThera clinicians in affiliated practices; LuminaThera can help source a therapist and make referrals.
- Relationship to medicine
- Supported medicine sessions may use intramuscular (IM) or sublingual administration according to the program and individual medical plan.
- Therapist or provider relationship
- An outside individual therapist is required unless the participant is already a client within affiliated practices. LuminaThera can help identify and refer to a therapist when needed.
- Cadence
- Cohort-based; dates and sequence are owned by each program and event
Orientation, not diagnosis
When this service may be relevant.
It may be useful when
- You value shared reflection and can commit to the complete cohort schedule.
- You have an ongoing individual therapist, are already supported in an affiliated practice, or are willing to establish that support with referral help.
- A group format may offer a more accessible path when the cost of individual KAP is a concern.
- You live outside Columbus. Virtual preparation and integration mean the retreat weekend is the only travel, so the format works for participants across Ohio.
Limits and fit
Group KAP is not a substitute for needed individual therapy. It requires screening, attendance commitments, confidentiality, and the ability to participate safely in a shared container.
The care arc
What happens, and why it matters.
- 01
Orientation and screening
We clarify the reason for seeking care, discuss fit, and identify the clinical and practical supports the work requires.
- 02
Preparation
Preparation builds shared language, readiness, intentions, and a plan for the experiential session.
- 03
Experiential work
When ketamine is part of the service, supported sessions take place onsite with clinical monitoring and a route chosen through medical judgment.
- 04
Integration
Integration connects the experience to ordinary life, relationships, choices, and ongoing therapeutic work.

- Fees and payment
Group KAP is priced per program rather than per session, in three transparent tiers. Current tier pricing appears with each cohort and on the Costs & Access page.

Clinical boundaries
What this service does not promise.
Group participation depends on medical and psychological screening, an appropriate individual-therapy relationship, group confidentiality, and the ability to attend the full sequence. LuminaThera can help source a therapist and make referrals when needed.
