Costs & Access
What does ketamine-assisted psychotherapy cost?
Every published number in one place, what each includes, and how access works.
Between $220 a session and $2,800 for a full program.
Care at LuminaThera is priced two ways. Individual work is priced by session. Group programs carry one price for the whole arc. Individual sessions run $220 to $660 depending on the session type. Group KAP runs $1,800 to $2,800 for the complete program, depending on the tier you choose.
The ketamine prescription is separate for every pathway. It is set by the prescriber and pharmacy, not by LuminaThera, and current figures are listed with each cohort.
The ledger.
Individual KAP. $660 for each three-hour experiential session. $220 for each 50-minute preparation or integration session. How many sessions the arc holds depends on the protocol chosen in treatment planning. About individual KAP
Couples KAP. The structure is customized through assessment and consent, and pricing follows the structure. The full arc and its cost are mapped at your consult. About couples KAP
Group KAP. One price for the complete program: $1,800 Community-Supported, $2,300 Standard, $2,800 Pay-It-Forward. Every tier receives the same care, and each Pay-It-Forward seat funds a Community-Supported seat. About Group KAP
Psychedelic Integration. $220 for each 50-minute session, for experiences that happened elsewhere. About integration
One price carries the whole arc.
A Group KAP tier covers screening, preparation, the supported medicine days, integration, and follow-up. There is no session meter running inside a program. Individual work is the reverse: you pay for the sessions you use, and the arc is planned with you before anything begins.
Two costs sit outside every price on this page. The prescription, set by the prescriber and pharmacy. And for group participants, an outside individual therapist if you do not already have one.
What you are paying for.
A ketamine infusion at a clinic typically buys the medicine and medical monitoring. Our prices carry the psychotherapy around the medicine: licensed clinicians in the room, preparation before, integration after, and coordination between therapist and prescriber. That is why a program costs more than an infusion and less than hiring a therapist and a clinic separately.
LuminaThera is private pay and does not bill insurance. Ketamine for mental health is prescribed off-label, and insurance rarely covers care built on it. If insurance coverage is decisive for you, esketamine (Spravato) is the FDA-approved and usually covered alternative. It is also a different model of care. How they compare.
If cost is the barrier, write to us.
That sentence is the whole policy. No application and no means testing. Community-Supported seats exist in every cohort, and Pay-It-Forward seats keep them funded.
Numbers are easier in conversation.
A consult maps your pathway and its actual cost before you commit to anything.
